EDALO green boat– A combination of E-bike and Pedals

EDALO is a small boat that runs on the combination of pedals and E-bike. The design incorporates two replaceable accumulators to store the power, which could be used get additional acceleration.

There are two inflatable barrels at the base which keep the boat floating, holds the chair and the propeller box underneath the pedals. Both, the chair and the propeller box are are connected to a horizontal axis.

To change the direction of the boat, the driver will need to shift his/her weight like a bike rider. The chair is bent at a very comfortable level that makes it’s easy to enjoy the ride while the driver pedals. EDALO is a completely green option for workout and water-sports.

EDALO takes little of your space to stow and is easy to transport as the barrels can deflated at will. Designer Samuel Ueberax worked on a prototype as well.
