Subham’s mother revealed that her son was never interested in playing games and had always been busy in making artworks and coloring them. She says that art is his only passion and the family appreciates and supports him in every way possible. The proud mother is delighted that her son is happy with what he is doing.

Subham carves images on leaves and intricately cuts them with the help of a blade. He has created many images of various famous personalities on leaves. The images of former President of India Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and Bharat Ratan awardee Lata Mangeshkar are among his famous leaf carving.

In recent years, amidst the chaos of global warming and climate change, ecological art has blossomed. It has become a contemporary form of art with a very low impact on nature. Many other artists in India have succumbed to this current art form and are spreading awareness on the importance of conserving the environment through their art.

Recently, international sand artist Sudarshan Pattnaik created a thought-provoking sand sculpture on Odisha’s Puri beach delivering a powerful message on water conservation.
