385-meter iconic tower of Yongsan will have self-sustainable living environment

Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (International architecture firm) has come up with the entrepreneuring design for Block H of the Yongsan International Business District (YIBD) in Seoul which apparently is going to the iconic symbol for 21st Century City, the heart of international business, living, entertainment and shopping in Seoul. The mega design is headed by Studio Daniel Libeskind consisting of 19 different architects from across the globe. Slated to be completed in 2016 it will include 5 Star luxury hotelsand high-end serviced residential buildings with humungous space.

This 385-meter tall tower will be constructed on 14,600 square meters of land on the north-eastern border of YIBD and the unique design of the building will comfortably accommodate hotels rooms, casion, spa, large banquet hall and apartments with breath-taking views, utmost privacy and natural lighting wherever possible. The self-sustainable organic system in the building will be close to nature as the design grows outwards from the center into three distinct wings.
