NASA time-lapse complies 35 years data to show horrible garbage patches in oceans

NASA has complied 35 years of data to create an animation that shows world’s waste congregates into five ‘garbage islands’ in the Indian Ocean, the north and south of the Pacific, and north and south Atlantic Ocean.

Over a period of 35 years, humanity has added a ridiculous amount of garbage into oceans. In one year, we are dumping over eight million tons of garbage in oceans. This waste includes plastic bottles, bags, toys and other plastic rubbish. A huge lot of garbage has sunk into the bottom. If this amount to be counted, the number crosses 12.7 million tons per year.
