Scientists create a free swimming artificial jellyfish with a heart

The Harvard University and Caltech team have created an incredible prototype of synthetic life – a jellyfish with a heart. The team calls it an breakthrough in the development of artificial heart. The free-swimming jellyfish is impressively able to reproduce difficult and complex movements and feeding habits like that of a really jellyfish. A silicon base and an arrangement of cells worked well for the team, but that sounds too little for such an invention.
I guess, you would be interested in finding out the answers to question popping up in your mind such as how did they do it, with what and, of course, why. If it’s so, then you can read about the project in detail on official website,of the Harvard University.
