World’s largest solar powered bridge will shortly be under construction in London

Solar power energy is the best resource of energy for a many billion hears from now on and it is free too. That is why these days the focus is shifting from fossil fuels and even hydroelectric energy towards harnessing the power of sun. On the same lines an announcement has been made that the World’s largest solar powered bridge which will replace the iconic steam-era railway bridge in London that will power the 50% needs of the Blackfriars station and will have a record breaking 6,000m2 of PV panels. The chief executive of the project called Solarcentury said that this is going to be something huge once it is finally completed. Just for the records, Solarcentury is going to generate around 900,000 kWh of power every year, if that doesn’t pop your eyes out nothing will.
