Apple on a green spree with solar panel farm in US for powering iTunes server building

Apple is going to make America’s largest private solar panel farm in 100 acres area of North Carolina for providing enough energy power (in 20-megawatt facility producing approximately 42 million KWh) to hundreds of homes in the region. All the eco power will go into powering up the data center for its iTunes and iCloud services. This is a part of Apple’s green initiative and other reason is the cheap power costs if the energy is produced in this manner. This is one of the many plans of Apple to have a mix of renewable energy resources and surely it looks impressive I must say.
